The StartSmart  Forum features Australia's highly recognised leader in youth education and global expert on workforce trends and generational change, Peter Sheahan.  Peter has worked tirelessly with the Commonwealth Bank Foundation to develop StartSmart programs that are fun and engaging. His clients include private sector organisations such as Google and Coca Cola, as well the Department of Education Science and Training and the Queensland Department of Premier and Cabinet. Peter has worked with more than 100,000 students, teachers and administrators in over 400 High Schools, TAFES and Universities across Australia. It will be this first hand experience he brings to bear when he presents to both teachers and students. 

In 2006 Peter was judged by his peers at the National Speakers Association of Australia as the leading keynote speaker in the country. Peter is also the author of four books including three student titles Mastering the HSC, Mastering the VCE and Mastering the TEE and his international best seller Generation Y which aims to give employers and educators a better understanding of how to engage this exciting generation.

The StartSmart Forum also features Youth Facilitators mentored by Peter Sheahan who will run various "must see" sessions and activities throughout the day.
