The Commonwealth Bank Foundation is bringing together young people and their teachers in 2008 to learn how to start a smarter financial future.
This year we have new content so teachers who attended in 2007 will further develop their skills and knowledge. You will leave this event with the knowledge, resources and ideas you need to help set your students up for a smarter financial future.
StartSmart Teacher Development Workshops are delivered in a format that is fun, engaging and interactive and will provide you with the tools you need to incorporate financial literacy programs into your classroom.
The Commonwealth Bank Foundation has joined with Australian Curriculum Studies Association and is supported by Business Educators Australasia in delivering a free workshop that will help you deliver this important life skill for your students.
You will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, meet fellow practitioners, closely explore financial literacy in the curriculum and share ideas around financial literacy education and the opportunities and challenges this presents to your school.
Workshops will be in capital cities and venues will be centrally located. Wherever you come from, it will be worth the journey!- That financial literacy can be fun!
